The Giant

It was time for bed and Asher and his sister wanted a story about a giant.  That night Asher's elephant dreamed that he was a giant.  His big feet were even bigger.  His huge ears were even more huge.  His bed was as big as ten beds pulled together.  His dinner plate was as big as a table.  His fork was as big as a rake, and his spoon was as big as a shovel.  For breakfast he had to eat twenty bowls of cereal to feel full.  At lunch Asher's elephant had to eat 30 hotdogs to feel full, and at dinner he had to eat spaghetti with twenty meatballs.  The best part was when he had 45 scoops of ice cream for dessert!  Asher's elephant liked being a giant because his long legs could help him travel faster than he ever had before.  He also like being a giant because he was too big to fit in any classroom, so he got to go out to recess all day, every day!
