A Trip to the Moon

Asher's elephant heard Asher's dad tell the kids a story about a rocket trip to the moon. In the story the kids rode on a rocket into space, landed on the moon, and collected lunar rock samples. In the story, Asher's dad told the kids not to jump too high because the gravity on the moon was not as strong as the Earth's gravity. Asher's elephant thought about how much fun it would be to go to the moon and play in the weak gravity. If Asher's elephant went to the moon he would jump very far from one point here to another point there. He would try to jump straight up and see if he could get ten feet in the air! Asher's elephant would try to walk on his two back feet.  Asher's elephant would try to walk on his two front feet.  He would try to jump over craters as big as a lake, he would try to jump over every hill no matter how long it might take.  He planned to balance on his trunk and bounce his way around and find the biggest moon rock anyone has found.  Asher's elephant knew the moon would be a fun place to play and hoped that he could visit very soon, maybe today.
