Soccer

Asher's elephant was excited to go to a soccer game.  It sounded very exciting, but Asher's elephant didn't know if he would be a good soccer player or not.  He started thinking about what would be his best sport.  He didn't think he would be good at basketball because he couldn't dribble well.  He didn't think he would be a good swimmer because if he jumped into a pool he might slosh all the water out!  He didn't think he would be a good bicyclist because his weight might pop the tires!  He didn't think he would be a good gymnast because he couldn't grab hold of the rings. He might be a good baseball player because he could swing the bat with his trunk.  For that matter, he might be good at tennis too.  Asher's elephant thought he would be good at bowling because he could roll the ball hard.  Hockey might be difficult because he can't fit into ice skates.  As Asher's elephant considered it, he might be a great soccer goalie. With four legs and a huge body, Asher's elephant could easily block the goals.  And when he had the soccer ball wrapped in his trunk he could throw it very far.  Asher's elephant would be a good soccer player.
